We are a nonprofit corporation dedicated to shoreline and coastal town conservation, organizing cleanups, and offering volunteer opportunities to protect our coastal environments through community engagement.


Our Mission and Vision
Coastodians, Inc. focuses on maintaining the coastline and public spaces in coastal RI towns year-round through cleanups and vigilant upkeep, fostering community involvement through volunteer opportunities to ensure a cleaner, healthier environment for present and future generations, and to protect our marine and terrestrial ecosystems, but we can't do it without your support! Please help us with this very important mission!

Our Services
Join us in protecting coastlines through cleanups, volunteer opportunities, and community events focused on conservation.
Recovery Cleanup:
A weekly cleanup dedicated to recovery from alcoholism, addiction and mental health issues. This is not an AA meeting, but follows similar principals. We will get together and walk and talk about life, and help each other through the commonality of what we go through on a day to day basis, and what have overcome. All while we do a good hearted community action cleanup on the beach.
EVERY FRIDAY - 6-7pm at Narragansett Beach, April-September
Meet at Narragansett Beach Parking Lot at 6pm


Full Schedule:
Get involved with our nonprofit by helping us on our weekly cleanups that promote environmental awareness and conservation efforts within the town. All are welcome to join us on any cleanup!
March 22 - Point Judith 10am-12pm
Meet at Pt. Judith Lighthouse parking lot at 10am. We will clean the coastline around the lighthouse. There will be rocky terrain.
March 29 - Narragansett Beach 10am-12pm
Meet at Narragansett Beach parking lot for 10am.
APRIL 19 - URI Alumni Cleanup

MAY 3 - Litter Free Galilee
We Will clean the streets and public spaces of the fishing village of Galilee. This is a Rhode Island DEM Litter Free cleanup. Meet at Georges restaurant parking lot at 10am.
MAY 17- Litter Free Black Rock
We will clean Black rock trail and Coastline. This is a Rhode Island DEM Litter Free cleanup. Meet in front of the black point ruins on the north end of Scarborough Beach at 10am
MAY 31 - Litter Free RT.108
We will clean RT. 108 in Narragansett. This is a Rhode Island DEM Litter free cleanup. Meet at stop & shop parking lot in salt pond plaza on RT.108 for 10am
JUNE 14 - Litter Free Flag Day on Narragansett Beach
We will clean Narragansett Beach and Gazebo Park to the Towers at the Coast Guard house. This is a Rhode Island DEM Litter free cleanup. Meet at Narragansett Beach parking lot at 10am
JUNE 28 - Litter Free Roger Wheeler Coastline
We will clean the Coastline starting at Roger Wheeler Beach and head north up the coast. This is a Rhode Island DEM Litter Free cleanup. Meet at roger wheeler beach parking lot at 10am.

Coastodian of Peace Dale:
A Special side project of our founder Jon, these weekly cleanups focus solely on his hometown, the Village of Peace Dale. Locals are encouraged to join, but all are always welcome!!!!
EVERY SATURDAY 9:30-10:30am. Village of Peace Dale
Meet at Peace Dale Elementary School parking lot at 9:30am.
